Project MATun

The abbreviation MATun stands for the project “World of Materials – Universities Together” approved by the Monitoring Committee of the EU Interreg program “Cross-border cooperation between the Free State of Saxony and the Czech Republic” in November 2023. The lead partner of the three-year project, thematically focused on materials research, is the Faculty of Science of the Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. Its project partner is the Institute of Materials Science of the Technical University of Dresden, a prestigious workplace cooperating with research institutes such as the Fraunhofer Institute.

The project was supported by subsidies totaling EUR 609.5 thousand.
