AI for uni: Universities in the age of artificial intelligence
The Faculty of Science at the University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně (UJEP) is once again participating in AI Days 2025, the largest Czech artificial intelligence festival, which will offer dozens of events throughout the country from November 3 to 16. On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, the faculty will host the AI for uni conference, focused on the use of artificial intelligence in the academic environment.
The conference will present the latest trends and strategies for using AI at universities and open a discussion on how universities are changing in the era of artificial intelligence – from teaching methods to research management to the organization of university operations. Academics, students, and experts from the field will meet here to share their experiences and seek inspiration.
“Our goal is to make the Ústí Region a place where AI is not only discussed, but where concrete solutions and collaborations are also created. That is why we are building on last year’s success and reopening the space for sharing experiences across universities,” says Michaela Liegertová, Vice-Dean for Development and Quality at the Faculty of Science, UJEP.
The AI Days 2025 festival is organized by the Czech National AI Platform (CNAIP) in cooperation with regional partners, the CzechInvest agency’s Technology Incubation project, and the AI for Children organization. The general partner is Google, and the main partner is Hewlett Packard Enterprise. The event is sponsored by DataSentics, Gen Digital, NEWTON Media, and Profinit EU. The media partner is WIRED CZ.
