Nanofiber materials and their use in research and practice

At the Nanomaterials Department of the Center for Nanomaterials and Biotechnology (CENAB), we also conduct research and development of nanofiber materials prepared by electrostatic spinning (electrospinning). Using this technique, we create ultra-fine polymer fibers with targeted properties that find application in a wide range of areas – from filtration systems and industrial emissions capture to the development of components for modern batteries.

Our laboratory allows spinning in various configurations – from the classic needle arrangement to advanced systems with a moving needle or bar electrode. Thanks to our technical facilities, we also carry out semi-industrial experiments with the possibility of transferring the results into industrial practice.
