Graduates have general biological education and experience with work in the terrain and laboratory. Continuing in the post-Bachelor study in a master’s programme in fields requiring general professional knowledge of biology, including biology teaching at secondary or primary schools, is one of the pathways available to the graduates. However, the tuition in this program also allows graduates to seek professional employment. After brief practical training, graduates are capable of participating in teamwork in academic and commercial biology. They are suitable candidates in particular for universities, natural sciences departments at museums, state institutions focusing on nature conservation and environment protection, botanical gardens and ZOOs, and institutions specialising in agricultural and forestry research. Graduates can apply their skills in specialised representation of companies, scientific journalism, popularisation, etc.
