How can you study more effectively? Come and find out how to manage your studies (not just) during exam time

University life brings plenty of new challenges. More coursework, more demanding subjects, specialist literature… And with all that going on, where do you find time for friends, hobbies and relaxation? Come along on Monday 26 October to a talk by Assoc. Prof. RNDr. Stanislav Daniš, Ph.D., who will offer practical tips on how to make your studies easier and learn more effectively.

You’ll learn how to engage more of your senses whilst studying, how to make the most of your own mistakes, and how to manage stress better and overcome setbacks. The talk will also cover how to cope with the demands of university life whilst still making time for other activities.

The speaker, Associate Professor Stanislav Daniš, works at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University and the Faculty of Science at UJEP. His research focuses primarily on X-ray structural analysis of almost all types of materials and numerical methods. Alongside his academic work, he has long been interested in university teaching and the popularisation of physics and astronomy.
