A two-day workshop and student gathering is taking place at UJEP as part of the PraStud project
A two-day program is currently underway at UJEP as part of the “Vocational Studies in the Border Region” (“PraStud”) project. The workshop brings together students from UJEP, TUL, and DHSN and offers a program focused on linking academic study with practical experience, collaboration with institutions, and the development of practical skills.
The workshop is taking place as part of the “Professionally Oriented Studies in the Border Region” (“PraStud”) project, in which our faculty is participating alongside the UJEP Faculty of Social and Economic Studies. This Czech-Saxon project focuses on linking theory and practice in higher education, and its goal is to support the development of dual studies—that is, linking academic study with practical experience directly in the field.
We are also collaborating on the project with the Technical University of Liberec and, in particular, with the Duale Hochschule Sachsen, which serves as an inspiring example of a functioning dual education system. It is with this institution that we share a long-standing history of cooperation.
The project is funded by the Interreg Czech Republic–Saxony 2021–2027 program.
