A seminar on reforming the training of future teachers was held at the Faculty of Science, University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně

The meeting, led by assit. prof. PhDr. Kateřina Jančaříková, Ph.D., focused on key changes in s of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports for the training of future teachers, how it is integrating the Competence Framework for Teaching Graduates, and what other specific steps it is taking.

The program included a review of the CPPV’s activities in 2025 and a presentation of plans for 2026. The faculty clearly declared its intention to continue its intensive cooperation with schools in the Ústí region.

“Our goal is not only to educate graduates, but to create a vibrant community where the university and regional schools help each other. The reform of teacher training is an opportunity for us to take this relationship to a new level,” said Kateřina Jančaříková during the discussion.

The section devoted to dual education in Saxony was well received. This example of good practice served as inspiration for closer links between theoretical education and real-life practice in companies and institutions.

The meeting confirmed that the Faculty of Science at UJEP is an active player in the transformation of education in the Ústí nad Labem Region and is not afraid to seek inspiration beyond its borders.
