AI Days 2025: Artificial intelligence takes center stage at the Faculty of Science, UJEP
The fourth annual AI Days, the largest Czech artificial intelligence festival, will take place from November 3 to 16, 2025, offering dozens of events throughout the country. This multidisciplinary festival will bring together companies, public institutions, academics, students, and the general public, becoming a unique platform for discussion, inspiration, and sharing experiences about the role of artificial intelligence in the present and future.
The J. E. Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem will once again be involved in the festival program, with the UJEP Faculty of Science preparing two professional conferences. The event will again be organized by the faculty’s vice-deans, Dr. Michaela Liegertová (development and quality) and Dr. Regina Herma (external and foreign relations).
Both conferences – AI for uni and AI for edu – will take place on November 5, 2025. AI for uni will present the latest trends and strategies for using AI in an academic environment and open a discussion on how universities are changing their role in the era of artificial intelligence. AI for edu is intended for educators at all levels of education, teacher training students, and education professionals, and will offer practical inspiration on how to integrate AI into everyday teaching.
“Our goal is to make the Ústí nad Labem Region a place where AI is not only discussed, but where concrete solutions and collaborations are also created. That is why we are building on last year’s success and once again opening up space for sharing experiences across universities and schools,” says Michaela Liegertová, Vice-Dean for Development and Quality at the Faculty of Science, UJEP.

The AI Days 2025 festival is organized by the Czech National AI Platform (CNAIP) in cooperation with regional partners, the CzechInvest agency’s Technology Incubation project, and the AI for Children organization.
