AI Days in November return to UJEP
The fourth annual AI Days, the largest artificial intelligence festival in the Czech Republic, will take place from November 3 to 16, 2025. The festival will offer dozens of events across the country and connect companies, public institutions, academia, and the general public. The aim is to open a discussion about the role of artificial intelligence in the present and future and to inspire its effective use across disciplines.
The J. E. Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem is once again participating in the festival program through the UJEP Faculty of Science, which is preparing two professional conferences, organized again this year by the faculty’s vice-deans, Dr. Michaela Liegertová (development and quality) and Dr. Regina Herma (external and foreign relations). Both events will take place on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the faculty premises.
The conferences are titled AI for uni and AI for edu, each targeting a different audience:
AI for uni focuses on the use of artificial intelligence in the academic environment. It will present the latest trends and strategies and open up space for discussion about the changing role of universities in the era of AI development.
AI for edu is primarily intended for educators of all levels, teacher training students, and education professionals. It will offer practical examples and inspiration on how to integrate AI into everyday teaching.
The AI Days 2025 festival is organized by the Czech National AI Platform (CNAIP) in cooperation with regional partners, the CzechInvest agency’s Technology Incubation project, and the AI for Children organization. The general partner is Google, and the main partner is Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Sponsors also include DataSentics, Gen Digital, NEWTON Media, and Profinit EU. WIRED CZ is the media partner.
A detailed program for both events will be published on the website of the Faculty of Science at UJEP. Participation in the AI for uni and AI for edu conferences is only possible after registration, but those interested can already make a note of the dates of the events.
