European Sustainable Development Week at UJEP
Tomorrow marks the start of Sustainable Development Week at UJEP, which this year runs until Tuesday, October 7, 2025, and offers a whole range of interesting events. During the week, you can take part in a sustainable mobility competition, a SWAP of unwanted items, or sustainable dining in the cafeteria.
On the final day of Sustainable Development Week (October 7), there will be sustainable stands on the square in front of the cafeteria. There will also be a “Design Your Campus!” stand, where you will have the opportunity to share your ideas for improving and revitalizing the outdoor areas of the UJEP campus from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This will be followed by a public presentation of activities to promote sustainability at UJEP and the announcement of a sustainable mobility competition in the Purple Hall of the MFC from 4 to 6 p.m.
These events are part of the Europe-wide European Sustainable Development Week (ETUR) festival, and we welcome the participation of employees, students, and the general public. More information on individual events can be found below and on the website.
In addition to Sustainable Development Week, you can also take part in the mobility plan workshop “From Analysis to Design” on October 22 from 1 to 4 p.m., to which all UJEP employees and students are invited to share their views on sustainable mobility at UJEP and possible solutions for the future. More information can be found HERE.
