Training School on Multi-Stakeholder Engagement and Knowledge Sharing!
What a great week at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem with the participants of the Training School on Multi-Stakeholder Engagement and Knowledge Sharing!
Funded by the SHiFT COST Action and supported by Přírodovědecká fakulta UJEP, the training brought together trainees and trainers from diverse disciplines – ranging from natural sciences to art and design – and from institutions across Europe, including Austria, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Croatia, Norway, North Macedonia, and Czechia.
The group explored development pathways for the Ústí region ⛏️“beyond coal” and discussed new methodologies for participatory approaches to 🌍 climate- and regional-transition actions. The discussions were enriched by a series of workshops, showcasing participants’ own projects, excursions to mining areas and old industrial towns, and the presentation from the local community foundation.
