New episode of Science Talks – How to be sustainable and not go crazy

Autumn 2024 brought a new ESG manager to UJEP – Dana Kapitulčinová, Ph.D., whose position you have probably heard about. Or not? What do the letters E-S-G stand for? How is our university doing with sustainability? And how to contribute to sustainability and not go crazy? Give this episode a listen and be inspired.
Bc. Dana Kapitulčinová, Ph.D., has been ESG Manager at UJEP since September 2024, where she is dedicated to promoting sustainability and strategic development in this area. She has worked for many years in Prague, among others at Charles University, where she still works as Sustainable Development Coordinator. She studied and obtained her PhD at the University of Bristol, UK, where she focused on the topic of food systems sustainability. She is co-author of the Nutritional Footprint Calculator, which was developed as part of the TAČR project and helps to assess the environmental impacts of nutrition.
