Today marks the start of the summer term of the academic year 2024/25
On Monday, February 17, students return to the lecture halls, classrooms and laboratories after the exam period. The second half of the academic year 2024/25 at the Faculty of Science of the Jagiellonian University started today.
Classes in the summer semester will run from today until 18 May. The examination period of the summer semester has two parts, from 19 May to 4 July and then after the summer break from 18 August to 21 September 2025. These and all other key dates can be found in the 2024/25 academic year HOUR SCHEDULE.
Please refer to the HARMONOGRAM for electronic course registration for the summer term for important dates relating to electronic course registration.
The selection process for ERASMUS+ study stays and practical placements for both the winter and summer semester 2025/26 is currently underway! If you are still hesitant about this option, come to the CPTO Canteen on 20 February for Breakfast with Erasmus+, where you can learn more about the programme over an informal coffee.
During the summer semester, students can enjoy a wide variety of events, be it scientific, cultural or sporting, right on the faculty premises or on the UJEP campus.
Already on 20 March, we cordially invite you to the Student Scientific Conference at UJEP, where the best research projects of the Student Grant Competition from each faculty of UJEP will be presented.
The Rector’s Sports Day will take place this year on 2 April. You will surely find an internship, a temporary job or even your future employer on 9 April at the Career Day at UJEP.
We will keep you informed about other events, keep an eye on our website and social networks:-)
We wish all students not only scientific success but also a lot of inspiration and joy of discovery for the new semester. Good luck, perseverance and, above all, may you enjoy your studies!
