The 42nd International Conference on “Mathematical Methods in Economics” starts next week.
The 42nd International Conference on “Mathematical Methods in Economics ” (MME 2024) will take place September 11–13, 2024, at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem (UJEP), Czech Republic. This traditional and prestigious conference of the Czech Society for Operational Research is organized this year by the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Science, at UJEP.
Conference programme starts on Wednesday 11th of September at 10 o´clock and will be officially opened by the University and Faculty management and the General Chair of the conference Organizing Committee, Dr. Hossein Moosaei from the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Science, at UJEP.
We are honored to welcome two distinguished plenary speakers:
prof. Panos M. Pardalos, University of Florida, USA, with his talk: “Artificial Intelligence for Economics and Finance“.
prof. Michal Černý, Prague University of Economics and Business, Czech Republic, with his talk: “Linear Programming: Old and New Results, Old and New Challenges“.
The Czech Society for Operations Research organizes a competition for the best paper authored by Ph.D. students presented at this conference. All participants enrolled in PhD studies can participate this competition.

The conference will take place in the building of the Materials, Mechanics and Technologies Center (CEMMTECH) of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering UJEP (Pasteurova 1, 400 96 Ústí nad Labem).
