Mandatory training on the handling of chemicals will take place on September 30

The annual mandatory workplace safety training will take place on Wednesday, September 30. The training is being held in accordance with current legislation on the handling of chemicals, and attendance is mandatory for all students who will be handling chemicals in any capacity during the 2026/2027 academic year (laboratories, theses, etc.).

The training will take place on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Red Auditorium of the MFC UJEP (MF-1.54).

Without this training, no student will be granted access to the laboratories during the 2026/2027 academic year.

The training also applies to academic and non-academic staff who handle Category 1 and 2 acutely toxic chemicals, are not professionally qualified under Section 44b of Act No. 258/2000 Coll., on the Protection of Public Health, as amended, and did not participate in the training during the previous academic year.16
