AI for edu: Conference on the use of AI in education on November 5 at the Faculty of Science, UJEP
Artificial intelligence (AI) is permeating all areas of our lives—and education is no exception. But how can it be integrated into school teaching in a way that brings real value to both teachers and students? The AI for edu conference, which will take place on Tuesday, November 5, 2025, at the Center for Natural Sciences and Technical Fields (CPTO) of the Faculty of Science at the University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně in Ústí nad Labem as part of the nationwide AI Days 2025 festival, will seek answers to this question.
The event is intended for all educators, teacher training students, school principals, and experts from the educational environment. Registered participants can look forward to inspiring lectures and panel discussions on how AI is transforming the way students learn, are assessed, and are motivated, workshops focused on specific tools and applications that participants will be able to try out for themselves, sharing of practical experiences – teachers from different school levels will share what has worked for them in implementing AI, as well as networking and a space for discussion that will connect the academic and school spheres.
The conference will feature experts from universities, practitioners, and schools who will present real-life examples of AI use in education. The program will offer a wide range of topics, from the development of critical thinking and media literacy to the creation of teaching materials, ethical issues, and personalized education.
