Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports workshop day on the implementation of the Competence Framework for Teacher Graduates (KRAAU) at UJEP
On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports of the Czech Republic will hold a workshop day at J. E. Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem focused on the implementation of the Competence Framework for Teacher Graduates (KRAAU). The event is intended for current and future KRAAU implementation coordinators at teacher training faculties and for educators of future teachers.
The aim of the workshop day is to support educators of future teachers in integrating KRAAU into teaching, to offer practical examples of the use of the framework in higher education practice, and to open up space for sharing experiences and mutual inspiration.
Participants will take part in two interactive workshops focusing on:
formative assessment in practice and the use of KRAAU when working with teacher training students,
linking portfolios, tripartite agreements, and formative assessment in the context of higher education teaching.
The program will also include examples of good practice, opportunities for self-reflection, experience sharing, and discussion on how to develop the professional competencies of teacher training students in line with the KRAAU framework.
The workshop will be led by experts from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, universities, and faculties that train teachers, including Blanka Pravdová (Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports), Alexis Katakalidis (Jan Neruda Gymnasium), Eva Matějková (Trnka Elementary School), Gabriela Klečková (Faculty of Education, University of West Bohemia), and Zuzana Šalamounová (Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University).
The event will take place at the UJEP in Ústí nad Labem, and participation is free of charge.
The workshop day is organized by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports in cooperation with teacher training faculties and an implementation team led by Radka Kmochová (Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports).
