Offer of volunteer/intership opportunities for sea turtle conservation and rescue in Greece
ARCHELON, a nonprofit conservation organization active since 1983, runs a number of volunteer projects for the protection of sea turtles and their habitats in Greece every year. The projects are taking place in 8 locations which are the main sea turtle nesting beaches and feeding grounds in Greece as well as at ARCHELON’s Sea Turtle Rescue Centre, near Athens.
More than 500 volunteers from many countries across the globe participate in our projects every year, including about 30 field leaders. ARCHELON enters into internship agreements with 70 Universities and other educational establishments from all over the world every year.
For 2025 we are offering 9 project opportunities for full time volunteers as well as 8 project opportunities for field leaders and will welcome internships for both types of participation. Please find more information attached:
