Announcement of the Election of a Candidate for Appointment as Dean of the Faculty of Science at UJEP in 2026
Dear members of the academic community,
The Academic Senate of the Faculty of Science at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem, on April 24, 2026, in accordance with Article 1, Paragraph 2, and other provisions of Annex No. 1 to the Statutes of the Faculty of Science at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University (Election Rules for the Election of a Candidate for Appointment as Dean), hereby announces the election of a candidate for appointment as Dean of the Faculty of Science, UJEP, for the term 2026–2030.
The deadline for submitting nominations for the position of Dean has been set for Thursday, May 14, 2026, by 12:00 PM, to be delivered to the Chair or members of the Election Committee. Nominators shall arrange the deadline for submitting nominations with the members of the Election Committee via email; alternatively, they may submit the nomination to the Chair in person every Thursday during her office hours (9:00–11:00 a.m.) in Room 4.32 (CPTO).

A nomination submitted by the nominator in hard copy to the Election Committee must include:
a) the first and last name, including academic titles, position, and workplace of the nominated candidate,
b) the nominee’s consent to the nomination,
c) the name, signature, and workplace (or, in the case of a student, the study program) of the nominator
