Data analysis – from numbers to useful information

17At the Department of Informatics and the Department of Mathematics, we analyze data from various fields. We work with structured and unstructured data from databases, surveys, laboratory measurements, and financial analyses.

We use a wide range of methods – from descriptive statistics, graphs, and basic statistical tests, through simple and more complex regression models, to specific procedures such as survival analysis and network analysis.
We process multidimensional data, time series, and spatiotemporal data, and select the appropriate statistical approaches for them.

We are proficient in modern analytical methods, including machine learning and Bayesian approaches.
To present the results, we create interactive visualizations and web applications so that the outputs are clear, easy to interpret, and practical to use.

We work in R, Python, SQL, and Business Intelligence tools.
