Conference on mathematics education is approaching. We invite you to join us
The Department of Mathematics invites you to the conference HOW TO TEACH MATHEMATICS TO STUDENTS AGED 10-16, which will take place from the 19th to the 21st of October 2023 on UJEP campus.
This year’s edition will revolve around the question: How do they do it elsewhere? Therefore some of the contributions will focus on how mathematics is taught in places where mathematics education or education in general is in certain aspects different. This applies to both abroad and in the Czech Republic.
The conference is organised by the University of J. E. Purkyně in Ústí nad Labem in collaboration with the Society of Mathematics Teachers within the Union of Czech Mathematicians and Physicists. The conference is accredited as a further education event for pedagogical professionals.
