Summer camps invitation by the Department of Informatics: Apply today
The Department of Informatics plans to continue its successful tradition of suburban summer camps focusing on robotics, programming and algorithmisation in 2023. The camp is suitable for children aged 7 and above, i.e. “school age.”
In 2023, the camps will be held in the following sessions (Mon-Fri):
- 10-14 July 2023
- 17-21July 2023
- 24-28July 2023
- 31 July – 4 August 2023
- 7-11 August 2023
- 14-18 August 2023
- 21-25 August 2023
Camp plan:
- The camp runs from Monday to Friday
- Children can arrive at 7:45 am (the event starts at 8:00 am) at the CPTO reception
- Children will be released from the building at 4:00 pm unless a guardian comes to pick them up or they have an “excuse slip” from the guardian for early departure (same format as school release slips)
- Children need to bring the following items every day (except Wednesday):
- Slippers
- Pencil case
- Gym clothes and white-soled shoes for the gym
- A resealable drinking bottle if necessary
- The UJEP canteen provides a snack at 10:00 am, lunch at 12:00 pm, another snack at 2:00 pm, and a complete drinking regime
- On Wednesdays a trip will be organised to an interesting location
Camp price: 3,000 CZK.
Due to the uncertainty of the epidemiological situation, necessary information will be communicated shortly before the camps begin.
